Kitten’s Queen is the 5/2 morning line favorite for trainer Michael Maker after finishing second in the Blushing K.D. Stakes December 18 at Fair Grounds in her last start.  The five year-old mare has 3 wins in 17 career starts and has never won a stakes event.  Jockey David Cabrera gets the call on Kitten’s Queen who will break from post seven. 

I Dazzle always right in the mix 

I Dazzle (7/2) hails from the strong turf barn of Michael Stidham and will be in search of her first stakes win since the August 8 Louisiana Cup Distaff Stakes at Louisiana Downs.  I Dazzle, a seven year-old Louisiana-bred mare, has won 8 of 30 career starts for earnings of $391,737.  In her last start, I Dazzle ran third against allowance foes at Fair Grounds following a second place effort in the Louisiana Champions Day Ladies Stakes December 13 at Fair Grounds.  Veteran pilot James Graham will be aboard breaking from post six. 

Antonia Autumn back on grass at a price 

Antonia Autumn is an interesting item at 8/1 for trainer Ben Colebrook.  The six year-old Bernstein mare finished a disappointing eighth in the Wintergreen Stakes January 3 at Turfway, but may have simply disliked the synthetic footing.  In her last turf start, Antonia Autumn ran third against better competition in the Grade 3 Cardinal Handicap November 22 at Churchill Downs.
