Full Field Set for $100,000 Eatontown Stakes
Stellar Path (FR) has been tabbed as the morning line favorite in the competitive field at odds of 7-2 for trainer Christophe Clement. A gray daughter of Astronomer Royal, the four-year-old filly has won six of her fifteen starts and was a Group 3 winner in her native France. She has one win from two starts since making her stateside debut and was last seen finishing fourth in the Nassau (G2) as the favorite. Joe Bravo will be aboard for the first time and they will break from post six.
Kenzadargent (FR) going for second straight win
Second choice at 4-1 on the morning line is Kenzadargent (FR) for trainer Chad Brown. A four-year-old daughter of Kendargent (FR), she has won four of her sixteen career starts and has won three of her four outings since her North American debut in August of last year. She returned off of a seven-month layoff to win the Pebbles Stakes last time out. No rider has been named but she will break from post five.
Rusty Slipper trying to regain winning form
Also in the field at morning line odds of 6-1 is Rusty Slipper for trainer Graham Motion. A five-year-old daughter of Lemon Drop Kid, she has won four of her twelve starts and is trying to earn her first graded stakes victory. She was seventh in her second start of the year last time out in the Santa Ana (G2) but has won two of her three starts at Monmouth. Daniel Centeno will be aboard from post two.
